At Florist Nails, we strive to provide the best service and experience to our customers. Our products are safe and compliant with the Alabama Board of Cosmetology’s guidelines. Please disclose any materials allergies or service concerns with your technician before the start of your service.

Nail arts and design is one of our most popular services. Please note that we try our best to replicate any inspo picture, but cannot guarantee an exact match. We encourage you to clarify any questions regarding nail style, design, and pricing with your technician before the start of your service.

At Florist Nails, we offer a service guarantee for our gel/shellac polish and dip powder treatments. If your nails chip within 5 days of your initial service, we will repair them for free under our policy.
Repairs will be done with the same color and style; changes in color, style, or design are not permitted. Please note that gemstones and 3D gem attachments are prone to falling off or getting scratched through daily contact. Customers are welcome to keep any fallen stones/gems, and we will re-glue them as needed.

Regular polish on hands or feet is not covered under our chip guarantee policy.

Services

We use a variety of nail polishes and powders, such as OPI, DND, Chisel, LC, etc. Customers are welcome to bring their own polish if wanted.

Regular polish, gel, and SNS dip powder are three different types of nail finishes that can be applied on your real nails.

  • Regular Polish is the traditional nail polish that is air-dried. Regular polish typically lasts about a week before chipping.
  • Gel polish is cured under a UV or LED lamp, which makes it more durable and longer-lasting than regular polish, often lasting up to two weeks or more without chipping. It has a glossy finish and requires a specific removal process involving soaking and wrapping the nails in acetone.
  • Dip powder involves dipping the nails into a colored powder, then sealing them with a top coat. It is known for being more durable than gel, and can last up to three weeks or more. Dip powder is praised for its strength, durability, and natural look. It also requires a specific removal process similar to gel.

Gel X is a type of nail extension system that offers a more gentle alternative to traditional acrylic or hard gel extensions. Unlike these methods, Gel X tips are pre-shaped and made entirely of gel. They come in various shapes and lengths, allowing for customization to the client’s preference. The process involves applying a specialized gel (often referred to as an adhesive) to the natural nail, and then the Gel X tip is applied on top.

Opt for acrylics instead of glued-on tips for enhanced durability, customizable nail shapes and lengths, and if you prefer a more long-term nail enhancement solution with regular upkeep.

You need a full set if you’re starting fresh with your real nails or if your current set has grown out significantly or is mostly removed. Opt for a full set when you want to completely change the shape, length, or type of nail.

Choose a fill if you have existing acrylics that have grown out, leaving a visible gap near the cuticle. Fills are suitable for maintaining the same type of set, updating the color, or minor shape adjustments, typically every 2-3 weeks as your natural nails grow.

Yes, we offer a variety of nail designs to complement our nail services. Whether you’re looking for something simple and elegant, or bold and artistic, our skilled technicians can help you achieve the look you desire. From classic French manicures to the latest trends in nail art, including glitter, decals, hand-painted designs, and more, we’re here to bring your vision to life. Feel free to bring inspo picture or check out some of our works here!

If you have a nail condition (fungus, ingrown, nail psoriasis, etc.), it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional or a dermatologist first to get a proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Depending on the condition, professional advice on whether it’s safe to proceed with nail services is crucial. For minor conditions, a nail technician may be able to accommodate you with a gentle service, avoiding further irritation. However, for more serious conditions or infections, it’s best to wait until the condition has fully healed before getting any nail services to prevent worsening the issue or spreading infection. Always inform your nail technician about any nail conditions before starting a service.
